Terms of Service

These terms govern access to Cadloom and its model-processing, viewer-configuration, publishing, and storefront services.

Last updated: August 12, 2026

1. Agreement

By installing, subscribing to, or using Cadloom, the merchant agrees to these Terms of Service. The person accepting these terms represents that they can bind the applicable business or organization.

2. The service

Cadloom helps Shopify merchants upload supported 3D and CAD files, process compatible geometry, configure a product viewer, publish approved models as Shopify product media, and display interactive experiences through a theme extension. Results depend on source-file quality, geometry complexity, browsers, devices, Shopify, and third-party platforms.

3. Merchant responsibilities

  • Maintain an eligible Shopify account and accurate account information.
  • Upload only content the merchant has the right to use, process, modify, and publish.
  • Review generated models, measurements, materials, and product presentation before publishing.
  • Keep credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
  • Comply with applicable laws, Shopify policies, and intellectual-property rights.

Cadloom's measurement and visualization tools support product presentation and are not a substitute for certified engineering, manufacturing, safety, or regulatory analysis.

4. Plans, billing, and product limits

Plans and charges are presented and managed through Shopify. Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing period selected in Shopify until changed or cancelled. Managed-product limits include product setups retained in Cadloom, whether draft, published, unpublished, active, or archived.

If a downgrade places an account over its new limit, Cadloom provides the displayed grace period to choose retained products. Excess storefront viewers may then be suspended while their configurations remain preserved for restoration after an upgrade.

5. Unlimited processing and fair use

Plans include unlimited uploads, revisions, and processing for ordinary product-catalog setup and maintenance. This is subject to reasonable fair use. Automated abuse, resale of processing capacity, intentionally harmful files, attempts to evade safeguards, or usage that materially disrupts the service may be rate-limited or suspended. Cadloom will ordinarily contact the merchant before restricting legitimate but unusually heavy usage when practical.

6. Merchant content and license

The merchant retains ownership of uploaded files and configurations. The merchant grants Cadloom a limited license to host, copy, transform, process, and transmit that content solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the merchant's use of the service. The license ends when the content is deleted, subject to short-lived technical copies and legal obligations.

7. Acceptable use

Merchants must not upload malware, unlawful content, controlled technical data without authorization, or content that infringes another party's rights. Merchants must not probe other tenants, bypass authentication or plan controls, interfere with processing, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

8. Availability and changes

We work to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Cadloom may modify features to improve security, performance, compatibility, or legal compliance. Material reductions to paid functionality will be communicated when reasonably possible.

9. Suspension and termination

A merchant may stop using Cadloom by uninstalling it. Cadloom may suspend access for security threats, unlawful use, nonpayment, material breach, or risk to the service or other users. Data is handled according to the Data Retention Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cadloom is provided “as is” and “as available.” Cadloom disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, Cadloom will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Cadloom's aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount paid for Cadloom during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
