Active installations
Shop, product, billing-entitlement, viewer-configuration, processing, and model records are retained while the app is installed and the corresponding Cadloom setup remains stored. This allows merchants to edit, reprocess, unpublish, and republish without starting over.
Uploaded and generated model assets
Private source files and generated outputs are retained while their Cadloom product setup exists. Publishing exposes only the merchant-approved storefront model through Shopify; it does not expose the original source CAD file. Replacing a model may remove superseded temporary or generated artifacts.
Product setup deletion
When a merchant deletes a complete Cadloom 3D setup, Cadloom removes the associated uploaded source, generated model, report, processing records, viewer settings, thumbnail references, and Cadloom-published Shopify media as part of that operation. Storage deletion is designed to be idempotent so retries do not restore removed data.
Uninstall and shop deletion
Cadloom removes stored Shopify application sessions when it receives an uninstall notification. Shopify ordinarily sends the mandatory shop-redaction webhook 48 hours after uninstall. On receipt, Cadloom deletes the shop's remaining Firestore records, billing entitlement, processing jobs, source models, and generated assets. Valid redaction requests are completed within 30 days and are normally processed immediately on receipt.
Operational logs
Security, request, error, and processing logs are retained for up to 30 days unless a shorter period applies. Logs are designed to use technical identifiers and avoid model content, access tokens, customer data, and unnecessary filenames.
Storefront viewer analytics
Daily product-level viewer totals are retained while the app remains installed so merchants can understand 3D adoption and engagement over time. Cadloom does not store customer names, emails, IP addresses, or persistent shopper profiles in these analytics records. The records are deleted when Cadloom processes the shop-redaction request following uninstall.
Support records
Support correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months after the issue is closed so we can track recurring problems and document resolutions. Merchants should not email confidential CAD files unless Cadloom support provides an approved secure transfer method.
Legal and security exceptions
Limited records may be retained longer when required by law, necessary to resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, or protect the service. When an exception ends, the affected data is deleted or anonymized.
Requesting deletion
Merchants can delete individual product setups within Cadloom or uninstall the app for complete shop redaction. Questions or verified deletion requests can be sent to support@cadloom.com.
